Picked Up By 6 Guys
Hahahahahaha. Today started out by being less than cool due to English and then studying, but then I went to ETLC to meet up with Sabi and Poorna and the rest when who should I meet but Ian, formerly known as the Q. He informed me that since it's eng week and engineers are maniacs, they were gonna have some sort of competition involving duct taping someone to a toboggan and race them around quad. And I was the lucky girl. Actually, he only asked me because if I didn't he'd have to and he didn't want to. But anyway, I was facing more studying so I decided I'd do it. They made me sign a waiver and wear a hockey helmet, and once I was strapped in I could hear the screams of other toboggan riders as they were carried around the course, butI couldn't move my head so I couldn't really see what was going on.
It was great fun tho, in the end, even if the ropes kind of cut into my flesh. And at one point they were pretty much dragging me in the snow instead of actually carrying me. And this one guys kept saying stuff like, "It's ok, only one person has ever died doing this." And someone had a camera with them, taking pictures of me strapped to a 'boggan. And inexplicably they decided they had to take me into CAB aferwards to cut me loose, so I imagine there was much staring. But you know what? It was totally worth it, because now they are going to buy me lunch, and I have technically been picked up by 6 guys. Ha!
