Nude Mounties???
Official Adventures-in-Arts: Day One Tally
Mind-numbingly slow-talking profs: 1
Vastly odd but highly amusing profs: 1
Female Kotoviches (but with more humorosity): 1
Hot profs: 0
Total courses: 3
Courses that are better than science: 3
We started off today by being late for history. Needless to say, plan to get up early failed. Prof Srdja (I'm not joking; he shall heretofore be called Prof Foreign Name) has got to be one of the most boring speakers ever to teach history. And that's saying something. The course itself still sounds pretty cool tho. And it beats chem any day.
Classics looks like it will probably be my most interesting course. Oh, sorry, I have to refer to is as 'classical mythology' in a calming voice, or else the prof will eat me. Prof Lynn-George is absolutely insane. He asked us all what we got for Christmas, and he seems determined to know ever one of us by the end of the semester. Frightening. He's still ultra-cool, tho. Oh, and this class is in the room I accidentally spent forty minutes in at the beginning of last semester. At least this helped me find it.
Prof Boag of the Realm of Anthro is mighty eccentric. Her favourite word, apparently, is 'um.' She tends to get off track quite nicely on her own. Somehow she got round to the topic of nude mounties. I do hope this is not an indication of what the rest of the course will be like. As the class was coming in, 'The Jetsons' was playing. That is still a mystery to me.
I met a girl in anthro who lives in Sherwood Park, went to Sal, and is also in my 'classical mythology' class. She was going to buy The Killer's CD after class, which is currently what's playing in my discman. Coincidence? Possibly. At least I made contact with a new person. Hurrah!
