Assorted Thoughts

I started off today with a call from the U of A saying they don't have my chem or english diploma marks and, since the deadline is today, I had better get cracking and find out what the *%$#! Alberta Learning did with them. So I called up A.L. and they where like, oh, you have to send them again. Meaning I have to pay for them again. ARG. But, as it turned out, it was all my fault anyway because I clicked "as soon as possible," which apparently doesn't include diploma marks that are not out yet. Good to know. It's still annoying that I have to pay the full price and all just for two stupid subjects, but I had to send another transcript anyway for a scholarship. At least now I know why I hadn't been getting that letter from the U of A. And now I've payed my confirmation fee, so I've secured my future as a chem nerd. Or a chem nerd for one year, I suppose. The U of A lady was pretty good about it, really. She told me I could send my marks unofficially and they won't cut me, for now anyway. But I still had to send the official one for posterity or some other such $h!te. Sigh. I'm still partially looking forward to university, tho.
